The Wind and the Waves

This is a depiction of a passing storm off of Calvert Island, located in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest region off the coast of northern British Columbia.  It is a place of pristine wilderness, with the ecosystems still functioning as they did 1000 years ago.  I never tire of this subject matter.  It is a rare and beautiful place that must be cherished and preserved.
